Sati Yoga explores a radical return to a natural sense of balance – within ourselves and with our relationship to the human and non-human world

Through a range of courses and residential retreats, we learn how to navigate our embodied experience of physical, mental and emotional patterns during this extraordinary time of change and crisis.  The cultivation of sati, mindfulness that is deeply ethical, integrates yoga postures, breath work and meditation so that they are means rather than an end goal, enabling us to explore our practice both on and off the mat with confidence and authenticity.

This is a different approach to yoga, one that is process rather than product, qualitative rather than quantitative, It is about opening up fully to experience, letting go of reactivity and negative patterns, creating spaciousness in our body, heart and mind, a centredness from which we can creatively engage with life.

Retreats

We offer a range of courses and retreats that explore conventional breathing, posture practice and meditation in an unconventional way – not isolating one from the other but exploring their intersection. Our teaching is centred around curiosity and exploration – encouraging students to stay close to experience, always questioning, always delving deeper.

Teacher training

The Sati Yoga Teacher Training programme is designed for those who are looking for training that honours their individuality and encourages the development of their unique teaching voice and style; going beyond standardized sequences and the physical dimensions of yoga which integrates a deep understanding of mindfulness as well as ethics.
