Vegetarian cooking course
This fun residential course is for those who wish to learn the secrets
behind the delicious food served at the farm and in the Stone Barn cafe
Join us for this two day course, during which you’ll have the opportunity to prepare (and in some cases, harvest), then cook, and finally thoroughly enjoy eating delicious, seasonal, vegetarian meals together. The course aims to dispel the myth that vegetarian cooking is complicated and time-consuming.
This year, the course begins on Monday evening with our very special 5 course tasting menu dinner (with all the vegetables grown here on the farm) in the Stone Barn (located just opposite the cottage where you will be staying!) The meal will serve as inspiration as we set to work over the next two days, preparing two lunches and one dinner together as well as many side dishes, sourdough bread and fermentated veg.
The course is based on lots of hands-on participation and in addition, expect lots of interesting discussions on all aspects of food and nutrition, all taking place in the welcoming and casual setting of our large kitchen.
