DESCRIPTION:Rossella Baroncini's Intensive Retreat\n20th-27th June 2026\nRossella is back after a 2 year break– and we’re so delighted to be hosting another one of her intensive retreats\, this year over the Summer Solstice!\nThis is such a special retreat – as anyone who as attended over the years knows. A direct student of Vanda Scaravelli with whom she began studying in 1983 and continued one-to-one tuition for the last 17 years of Vanda’s life\, Rossella Baroncini has been coming to Macalla Farm since 2005. \nShe continues to explore and share with us the teachings she received from Vanda\, preserving their simplicity and freedom which lead to a deep reconnection with nature\, through the exploration of gravity\, the spine and the breath.\nThrough slow\, deliberate and highly intuitive practice\, Rossella guides us so that we can begin to let go of conditioning and habits\, allowing us to open instead of imposing and forcing\, to listen instead of doing\, enabling a natural unfolding of the body and mind in whatever ways the present moment calls for.\nThis retreat is suitable for experienced practitioners and teachers.\nSCHEDULE*\nSATURDAY June 20th Arrival5.30 pm Leave Roonagh pier with ferry for Clare Island6.00 pm Arrive at the centre\, settle into accommodation7.00 pm Dinner followed by introductions and outline of the retreat\nDAILY8.00 - 11.00 am Morning session11.00 am Silent brunch then free time for hill walking\, reading\, relaxing4.30 - 6.00 pm Afternoon session** no afternoon session on Wednesday the 24th6.30 pm Dinner\nSUMMER SOLSTICE June 21stevening bonfire on top of the hill of Macalla\nSATURDAY June 27th Departure8.00 am Morning meditation11.00 am Brunch12.40 pm Depart centre1.00 pm ferry back to Roonagh pier\n\n\nSolstice Bonfire 2025\nACCOMMODATION\nPrice is based on shared accommodation.
