How to book on a course or retreat
The first step in booking a retreat is to complete an online booking form. To do this, please click on the Book Now button under the description of the course you wish to book. You will be taken to the Online Booking Form–please fill in the form fully. You will then be directed to the payment page where you will be asked to pay a 50% deposit (you can ignore this step if you are paying by gift voucher).
Note that on some of our advanced courses you will be asked to fill in an application form instead of the booking form. In such cases, payment of the deposit can only be made once your application has been accepted.
If you require a single room, please contact us to check availability before booking.
A booking is not treated as confirmed until the booking / application form and the deposit payment have both been received.
Once we have received both your booking form and deposit, we will send a booking confirmation by email. Do not make any travel arrangements until the booking confirmation is received. If you haven’t heard from us within a week of sending an application or a booking with payment, please contact us.
The best way to pay us is by bank transfer, or by lodging money directly into our bank account. Our bank details are below (for security reasons, you will need the password that was given to you to access them):
Please make sure that you accept all bank charges and that your name and the date of the course are mentioned on the transfer. Please let us know by email when you have transferred your booking deposit.
If you are using a gift voucher as partial or total payment for a course, email us to let us know the gift voucher number or the name and email address of the person who gave you the gift voucher. If the gift voucher doesn’t cover the full deposit, we will send you a Paypal invoice for the difference.
If you choose to pay online through Paypal (or by credit card), click on the Pay Now button of the payment page that will be displayed after you’ve completed the booking form. You will be taken to the Paypal site (be patient, this can be slow at times). You don’t need to create an account – you can just use your credit card to pay through Paypal. Note that we do not accept credit card payments other than through Paypal.
If you are availing of a discount and are paying by Paypal with this method, your deposit will be more than 50%, but don’t worry, we will adjust the balance accordingly.

The price for residential courses and retreats includes tuition, (shared) accommodation, food, transport to and from the island pier to Macalla Farm and return ferry to the island. The normal cost of a return ferry ticket is €17.
On most courses, there is limited single room accommodation availability—please check with us in advance by email. Supplement is €20 per night and is payable in cash on arrival at the centre.
If there are no single rooms available, we may be able to arrange one for you in a local Air B&B run by a friend of ours, a ten minute walk from the centre. This means you would be sleeping off-site but taking all meals in the centre with the rest of the group. Common rooms in the centre are also available for your use.
The price for non-residential courses includes tuition only. Sometimes the price also includes lunch. For more information on the schedule and the food included please refer to the specific course page.
Up to 15 days before the start of the course, deposits may be transferred to another course within a calendar year from the date of the original course, subject to availability and the suitability of the course.
