How to confirm your accommodation booking


You will first need to send us a booking request from the relevant page (either the guesthouse page or the self catering accommodation page).
Once you have received confirmation that your booking request has been accepted, please send us a 50% deposit to confirm your booking (you can ignore this step if you are paying by gift voucher).


Please do not send any payment before we have confirmed that your booking request has been accepted.

A booking is not treated as confirmed until the booking request and the deposit payment have both been received,

Once we have received both your booking request and deposit, we will send a booking confirmation by email. Do not make any travel arrangements until the booking confirmation is received. If you haven’t heard from us within a week, please contact us.

Bank transfer

The best way to  pay us is by bank transfer, or by lodging money directly into our bank account. Our bank details are below (you will need the password sent to you by email to access them):

Please make sure that you accept all bank charges and that your name  and the date of your stay are mentioned on the transfer.  Please let us know by email when you have transferred your booking deposit.

Gift vouchers

If you are using a gift voucher as partial or total payment for your stay at the farm, email us to let us know the gift voucher number or the name and email address of the person who gave you the gift voucher. If the gift voucher doesn’t cover the full deposit, we will send you a Paypal invoice for the difference.

You don’t need to create a Paypal account – you can just use your credit card to pay through Paypal.
Note that we do not accept credit card payments other than through Paypal.

If you cancel within 48 hours of booking, all money paid will be refunded.
If you cancel your booking in writing more than two weeks before the start date, we will refund your deposit minus a 20 euros administration fee. 
If you cancel your booking less than two weeks before the date, refund is at the discretion of Macalla Farm (this means we will keep the deposit unless we can find someone to take your place).
Booking deposit are transferable to a third party coming on the same date, up to the day before your intended arrival.
