Wisdom in Nature retreat, mindfulness and horses

This unique 5 day retreat is all about (re)connecting. Reconnecting with ourselves, first through mindful movement, posture and breath work inspired mostly by the yogic tradition, And reconnecting with nature through time spend on the land as well as time with the farm horses, connectng with these wonderfully sensitive animals.
While this course is suitable for people with no previous experience with horses, it involves 5 hours of yoga and mindfulness practice every day, as well as a lot of time spent outdoors in nature and with the horses, and for this reason, a good level of physical fitness is necessary.
The course starts on in the evening of Friday 29th June with dinner followed by an introductory talk and a short meditation and finishes in the morning of Wednesday 4th of July.
Each day will start with a two hour session focusing on mindful movement and breath awareness.
In the early afternoon, we will spend some times with the farm’s horses who will be our teachers and guide us to (re)discover the Wisdom of Nature. We will also spend time in nature, letting the trees and the birds, the rocks and the wind tell to us about their wisdom.
In the late afternoon, we meet for another yoga session which introduces a unique approach to breath work drawing from both the Buddhist perspective exposed in the anapanasati suta (the discourse on mindfulness with breathing) and from classical yoga practices.
The day ends with dinner followed by a silent meditation. The evenings are spent in silence, giving everyone a chance to reconnect with their true selves.
